  1. This was the first attempt in the history of journalism in India that an effort was made to ‘crowdsource’ info on life in Indian journalism, but unfortunately either the 1000s of journalists contacted on social media did not understand what is ‘crowdsourcing’ even when the ‘subject’ column in the message sent to them said “information, advice, inputs (to be acknowledged) welcome” or did not want to help a fellow journalist. For getting their opinion the entire preface, which explains the concept of the book and some excerpts were sent in attachments. Yet no one seems to have opened the attachments.
